Workshop at Beijing Royal School
Beijing April 2016
Intensive 2 ½ day students workshop
The leadership team of the Beijing Royal School invited Preview to conduct an intensive long weekend workshop for 18 juniors in their art program.
Bringing in a team of experienced artists /educators to work with a group of serious and committed art students can be a profound learning experience. Exposing the students to different aesthetic opinions and creative strategies will significantly broaden their perspective on art making.
The Preview teaching team combined lectures on art college admissions with team-based class assignments, regular class projects and individual portfolio advising sessions. The overall focus was to encourage students to work outside their comfort zones, explore different materials and processes, take risks and work BIG!
