2016 PDI hosted at Purchase College, NYC
The Preview Portfolio Development Institute (PDI) is a unique two-week summer program in the United States combining a week of intensive portfolio development courses and a week of college visits.
The program is based at the campus of Purchase College - State University of New York (SUNY), located about 30 miles north of New York City. Students stay in campus housing and dine at the SUNY cafeteria. Students are supervised and safe, with chaperones living in the dorms, in addition to on-campus security. During both weeks, there is time scheduled for museum and gallery visits and limited cultural sigh-seeing.
PDI is designed for students who aspire to study visual art, design, architecture and related arts. Students will improve and develop their portfolio, and will have the opportunity to meet with representatives and faculty from some of the top art and design colleges in the world. PDI provides an outstanding educational experience for any student interested in a career in art or design.
