Northeast USA College Visits
Preview College Tours (PCTs) offer unique educational experiences, combining college campus tours with guided museum visits and cultural sightseeing. Created especially for rising high school juniors and seniors, PCT helps students become better informed about US art colleges, their programs, facilities and staff. Students will bring their portfolios and will have the opportunity to meet individually with representatives and faculty from top art and design colleges.
The Northeast USA college tour will visit prestigious art schools in New York City, Boston, Providence, Philadelphia and Baltimore. Students will get tours of the colleges, learn about admissions requirements and will meet with representatives for individual portfolio reviews and receive personal feedback on their work and advice on how to improve and edit their portfolio.
During the program, there will be time scheduled for guided museum and gallery visits and cultural sightseeing. Students will be supervised by chaperones at all times during the program.
The tour will be guided by Hans Evers and will include group information sessions on art college admissions and individual coaching on how to prepare for portfolio reviews.
Students are expected to arrive in New York on Saturday July 8th, and will depart from Washington DC on Sunday July 16th. PCT is housed in three star hotels, with students typically sharing double rooms. Ground transport is by luxury coach, and all meals and museum entrance fees etc. are included in the cost for the tour. Students are responsible for purchasing their own RT air tickets to the US and for obtaining tourist visas.
